So, today is my last day in the lovely Sunshine State. I leave on a plane to Manchester in just a couple of hours. Everything's pretty much a big jumble of emotions: excitement, nervousness, etc. I'm looking forward to starting this new chapter in my life.
The University of Sheffield offers a lot of opportunity for me and I can't wait to begin this journey. It's a great school and a pretty intense program so it should keep me pretty busy, I think. I'm happy to have the opportunity to study abroad for a year.
I had a great time seeing friends on Friday and this morning and my grandmother the weekend before. It was really nice to see everyone and to spend time with you all. I'm sorry to anyone I didn't get to see before I left. The week turned out much busier than I had anticipated but I look forward to seeing you all again in December.
